Happy Friday! Today, I came across an article in the New York Times about the words used to describe cancer, cancer treatment, and cancer patients. What I love about it is the humor and frankness with which the author discusses her own experience with cancer words, and how she "came to terms" with them.

I encourage you to check it out, and would love to know what you think about the terminology you've encountered in your treatment. Like the author of the article, I have never been a fan of the mixed up way in which cancer things are discussed. As the article brilliantly states:
In the topsy-turvy world of cancer, anything “positive” or “advancing” spells trouble. Yet a brain labeled “unremarkable” after an M.R.I. hardly conveys the good news it contains.
